Gold Survey 2009 - Update 2 will be launched
in Toronto at 9.30 on Wednesday 13th January 2010.
About Gold Survey 2009 - Update 2
Update 2 to the annual Gold Survey will provide flash
estimates of global gold supply and demand during 2009, with analysis
of the most recent trends in every sector of the market. Update
2 will also set out GFMS' views on the outlook for the main
supply and demand variables and the price for the first half of
2010 and identify the most important economic, socio-political and
market-specific issues facing the industry in the short term.
About the event
As in previous years, the event will feature a presentation by GFMS'
Chairman Philip Klapwijk, highlighting the main findings of Gold
Survey 2009 - Update 2 and presenting GFMS' forecasts for supply,
demand and the price in the first half of 2010.
Following this, GFMS' joint venture - GFMS-World Gold will review
its latest regional gold mining special report,
which presents a comprehensive review
of current gold exploration and development initiatives in the Canadian
Provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
We will also feature presentations of three
companies involved in gold mining and exploration (name of the companies
to be confirmed).
