GFMS Precious & Base Metals Seminar

The Precious & Base Metals Seminar will take place in Trinity House on 17th September 2008.

Since its inception over 10 years ago, the GFMS Seminar has consistently delivered the highest quality presenters to speak about the most pertinent issues in the precious and base metals markets.

This year is no exception, and we are delighted to have two central banks, from the Philippines and Venezuela, participating in the morning precious metals session. In addition to this, Mark Lewis of energy consultants EMC will set the scene for oil prices into the future. And as always, this will be complimented by a series of papers from GFMS itself. Following lunch, the base metals afternoon we will begin with a key note presentation by Rio Tinto followed by Lehman Brothers who will focus on risk and price change issues. These will be complemented by a nickel presentation from Norilsk, followed by a paper from Neil Buxton, Managing Director of GFMS's Base Metals division. Proceedings will close with a panel discussion on the key issues facing the industry in these turbulent times

As always, the seminar will also provide an excellent opportunity for delegates to meet with leading industry representatives from across the entire spectrum of the markets.
